ATON Transilvania is the owner of agricultural land, building land, future development land, an industrial park and more real estate. All land is located in the proximity of Sanandrei and Carani. Currently, ATON Transilvania owns 3.600 ha of cropland. In addition, the acquisition of another 2.000 ha agricultural land is planned.
The existent future development land, approx. 300 ha, is designated for the usage for large projects and is about to be converted to building land, according to Romanian law.
The industrial park ATON 1 (near Sanandrei), which has already been planned, will extend over an area of 43 ha. The Romanian government has given the authorization to build the industrial park by the permit no. 214/29.05.2007.
ATON Transilvania, being the operator of ATON 1, owns the required infrastructure like streets, water resources, electricity and sewer systems and is able to provide all other services. In this industrial park, the company will build production halls and office buildings for its customers. Almost the whole area of the industrial park ATON 1 has already been allocated to customers. They have the advantage of being able to use the area and buildings tax-free. As the authorization to build the infrastructure of the industrial park has already been given, the construction can start shortly. For several customers, among those ESSO, the construction of the scheduled halls is already under way. In the business segment land, ATON Transilvania employed a staff of 15 in 2007.
