About DC Aviation
DC Aviation GmbH, headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, ranks as one of the leading operators of business jets in Europe. The company, which came into being in 2008 as a result of the merger of Cirrus Aviation and DaimlerChrysler Aviation, today offers a comprehensive portfolio from aircraft management via aircraft charter to business jet maintenance. The young fleet, with an average age of around 3 years, stretches from the modern short-haul jet Citation XLS to medium-range and long-range jets such as the Gulfstream G450/G550, all the way to the VVIP Airbus 319 CJ. With four VVIP/VIP Airbus A319 CJ aircraft, the company is one of the largest operators of this aircraft type in the world. In August 2008, the company was the first German supplier of private jets to receive the international “IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA)” certificate, and was recertified in May 2009. In aviation worldwide, the IOSA certificate is considered a seal of quality for flight safety and is awarded by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in audits.
