Changes in the management of DHI

Mr. Dirk Ohlms has resigned from his position as Managing Director of Deilmann-Haniel International Mining and Tunneling GmbH (DHI) for private reasons effective July 22nd, 2009.
George Flumerfelt, President and Chief Executive Officer of J.S. Redpath, and Jochen Greinacher, Managing Director of Deilmann-Haniel Shaft Sinking GmbH, were appointed Managing Directors of DHI. Both Mr. Flumerfelt and Mr. Greinacher are long term and experienced managers of DHI Group companies and thus very familiar with the worldwide business and operations.
We would like to thank Mr. Ohlms for his valuable services in the past two years and for the success he achieved for the DHI Group. We regret his decision to resign, however, at the same we want to express our understanding that he intends to devote his time after two years in the world of mining and heavy civil construction to other business and activities.
