New Appointments to EDAG Executive Board

EDAG GmbH & Co. KGaA is to have a new Executive Board. In the future, the globally active EDAG Group is to be managed by Jörg Ohlsen, Manfred Hahl and Rainer Bauer. In connection with this, the previous directors, Dr. Klaus Blickle and Dr. Jürgen Böhm will be leaving the company.
Strengthening the company's core fields
Dr. Lutz Helmig, main shareholder of ATON GmbH, thanked the management, emphasising in particular Dr. Klaus Blickle's achievements in his work in the EDAG Group. It is to his activities that the improved order volume and the stabilisation of the company thus generated are owed. In compliance with the partner, he prepared the segmentation into four business units, and this step is now being implemented. This segmentation is one further, systematic step in the strengthening of the company's core operative fields of Product Development, Production, and the development and construction of production facilities, and in continuing to streamline the management structure of the EDAG Group.Jörg Ohlsen and Manfred Hahl, two experienced EDAG managers, will be taking over responsibility for the continued expansion of the EDAG Group. As a Member of the Executive Board, Jörg Ohlsen, who has been with the company for 14 years in various managerial functions in Development, will, in the future, be responsible for the Product Development Division. In his new position, he will also be taking on the role of Spokesman of the Executive Board.
Manfred Hahl, who has been with the EDAG Group since 1987, has, in his capacityas Managing Director of the EDAG subsidiary FFT and today's FFT EDAG Produktionssysteme GmbH & Co. KG, managed and shaped the core business of the development and construction of production facilities. As a Member of the Executive Board, he will hold responsibility for the Manufacturing Equipment Division.
The third executive director of EDAG GmbH & Co. KGaA is to be Rainer Bauer, who, besides retaining his position as Director of ATON GmbH, will also be holding the function of Chief Financial Officer.
