Tutor Perini acquires Frontier-Kemper

As of June 1, 2011, Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC) with headquarter in California, acquired all shares in Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc.
Frontier-Kemper with its headquarter in Evansville, Indiana, is a company with business in the US-market in mining, tunnelling and civil engineering with more than 600 employees.
The Management of Frontier-Kemper regards, as well as Deilmann-Haniel International Mining & Tunneling (DHI) GmbH as part of the ATON-Group, the sale of Frontier-Kemper as an important step for the Company to grow within the USA together with a strong, strategic partner.
Since Frontier-Kemper became a part of the ATON-Group in 2006, the Company was engaged in an ongoing restructuring process conducted by the management, leading to continuous positive results. For the future development of the Company, Tutor Perini presented itself as a suitable strategic investor to ensure further growth in this investment-demanding market.
